El domingo 24 se festejaron los American Music Awards que celebran, por medio de votos del público, lo mejor que ha sucedido en la música en el año. El conductor de la noche fue Pitbull y, además del premio ICON para Rihanna, tuvimos un gran tributo a Celia Cruz por parte de Jennifer Lopez.
